What information does Draftsmith have access to/where is it sent?

Any sentence that you choose to analyze with Draftsmith is sent to Draftsmith’s servers and then to Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI Service. 

On Draftsmith’s servers, we do not store your text. We only store metadata that describes what you did with Draftsmith. That metadata is: 

  • The function used. 

  • The time it was sent. 

  • Who sent it. 

  • The size of the query. 

Much the same as PerfectIt Cloud, your data is transmitted securely when it goes to be processed. It is then stored securely when it is processed and transmitted back to you.

Draftsmith runs on Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service with its enterprise-grade security. Your data remains your data. Your data is protected by comprehensive enterprise compliance and security controls, and your data is not used to train any foundational AI models.  Draftsmith has exemption from Microsoft's human review processes.

In plain English this means that Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service: 

  • Does not use any user data to train AI data models 

  • No data will stored by the Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service after processing is complete

  • No data is accessible, even to authorized Microsoft employees

When you data is sent anywhere, it is sent encrypted, at no stage can we or Microsoft’s system see or read your data.
